Guest Policy
Our suites allow ages 13 and up. However, the cabin is able to accommodate guests of all ages! Unfortunately, for all our guest under the age of 13, they will not be permitted in the dining room for breakfast or dessert, but adults more than welcome to take them a to-go box. Our guest under the age of 13 are also not allowed on the sunset cruise. For those 65 years and older, ask about an additional savings per night.

Cancellation Policy:
If your plans change after your reservation is confirmed, cancellation notice is required 14 days in advance of your arrival date. You will be refunded the money that you have paid to Mountain Harbor Inn.
If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival date, you will be issued a gift certificate that is equal to the amount of money that you paid to Mountain Harbor Inn.
If you cancel within 48 hours of your arrival time, you will lose your reservation as well as the payment that has been made to Mountain Harbor Inn.

Deposits & Payments:
A 100% deposit is required on reservation for only one night. If your reservation is for more then one night a 50% deposit is required at the time of reservation and is charged to the Visa, Mastercard, or Discover card you provide. The remaining balance is due on the day of check-in and will be charged to the card on file unless other payment arrangements have been made.

Check-In & Check-Out Policy:
Check-In time is anytime after 3pm. If needing to check-in later than 8pm, please contact the office to make arrangements.

Check-Out time is any time before 11am.

Pet Policy
Mountain Harbor Inn welcomes you and your special ones here. The Garden Terrace rooms are available for you and your pet – however, due to past experiences, we must set the requirements below in order to offer our special guests this service.

  • Pets fees are $35.00 per night, per Pet.
  • Pets must be on a leash at all time outside of the room no exceptions.
  • Please do not allow your pet to lie directly on the comforter or blankets of the beds.
  • Damage caused by your pet to any of the comforters or furniture will be charged to your credit card.
  • We kindly request that you clean up any waste that is deposited on the lawn or any other outside location.
  • Pets are not allowed in the lobby, the dining area or the sunset Cruise.
  • Please confine your pet to the Garden Terrace Suites and lawn area directly in front of the rooms. We respectfully request that you do not allow your pet in other areas of the Inn. We kindly ask that you walk your pet on the lawn area in front of your room.

Q: Do you get the Romantic Sunset Cruise, Candlelight Dessert and Breakfast Buffet each day of our stay?

A: Yes, the Romantic Sunset Cruise on Beautiful Douglas Lake,
Signature Candlelight Dessert and a Bountiful Breakfast Buffet
is included each night of your accommodation.

Q: Do you except cash or check payments.

A: We are now a Cashless Facility we take all Credit and Debit Cards. (No Check & No Cash.) If you do not have a Credit or Debit Card, please contact us in advances and we will have a manager  present that is able to take payment.

Q: What time is breakfast?

A: Breakfast is every morning from 8 to 10 AM.

Q: What time is the sunset cruise?

A: The sunset cruise is every night weather permitting from 4 to 5 PM. The cruise will leave promptly at four, so make sure that you’re in the lobby no later than 3:50 PM.

Q: What is included with my reservation?

A: A reservation includes your room, one free pizza upon check-in, a candle light dessert, and an all you can eat buffet breakfast in the morning.

Q: What time is pizza served?

A: Pizza is served between the hours of 4 to 6 PM.

Q: What can I get on my pizza?

A: Our excellent Hunt Brothers pizzas come in a variety of options, such as original crust or thin crust and up to 10 toppings. (Unfortunately, we don’t have any gluten-free options.)

Q: What time is dessert?

A: Dessert is served every night from 5 to 8 PM.

Q: What desserts are offered?

A: We have our signature brownie sundae, which is three scoops of ice cream, two warm brownies with homemade fudge, whip cream, and a cherry.
Our excellent Tennessee cheesecake with your choice of raspberry, caramel or chocolate or all three and of course whip cream and a cherry.
The Louisiana crunch cake, a delicious lemon crumble cake with a hint of coconut served with one scoop of ice cream, whipped cream and cherry.
And last, but not least the honey bun cake, three pieces of warm honey bun cake with homemade glaze on top, served with one scoop of ice cream, whipped cream, and a cherry.

Q: What is served at breakfast?

A: Our delectable Southern style buffet breakfast includes Biscuits, Pepper Gravy, Fried apples, Grits, Real Scrambled eggs and our Premium bacon.

Q: What time is check in and check out.

A: Check-in is anytime after 3 PM if you are going to be later than 8 PM, make sure that you notify the office because we will have to set up a late check-in for you as our office hours are from 8 PM to 8 PM every day
Check out is no later than 11 AM.

Q: Do you serve alcohol?

A: We do not, but you’re more than welcome to bring your own.
